What’s Here?
(Or, at least, what's here now plus what will be here):
Unscrupulous politicians, politically minded judges, good and bad attorneys, anti-education university presidents, the whole human comedy (and tragedy), jokes, thoughts, quotes, snarkiness, bon mots and "the best book ever written about growing up Okie."

(Hint: It aint' all about the law.)

are you a judge?

Not yet. And not likely to be, considering my attitude, although I have sat as a temporary judge many times.
There are a number of reasons: First, the Powers That Be don’t like judicial candidates with outspoken opinions. You are supposed to wait until you are on the bench before you become a nutcase, like the “Honorable” Roderic Duncan, for instance. Second, most California governors are Republican and I’m a Democrat. Third, the vast majority of appointed judges come from the DA’s office, which I consider to be a hotbed of Nazis.
I suppose I could go on, but why do you ask?
